Storm Gustav in Juan Dolio, DR, 25th August 2008
Today's storm began at 2:30pm (local time) and finished in 2 hours. The wind and the rain at the beginning were very strong. However there was no problem with electricity as usually happens during such stormy weather. The video was taken at Costa del Sol by Metro Country Club.
Rainy August
As usual august is a rainy month in Dominican Republic. Summer was quite hot this year. Now the Fay Storm has passed over DR. Today was rainy again. A heavy one started in Juan Dolio about an hour ago. Still hasn't finished. There are more storms to come. Let's hope they will not be strong.

Spring came to Dominican Republic
Just a month ago all trees were loosing their leaves. And now they are alive again. New, green and fresh. Spring is here. The weather is hot. Sometimes too hot. I wish I could travel more around the island. I think there are a lot of places worth seeing. Until then I take pictures of life in Juan Dolio. Here are some photos of nature.
